Sharing a small glimpse from ‘Arpit 2023' The Ganesh Vandana is a traditional invocation to Lord Ganesha, praising his special qualities and attributes. Lord Ganesha is known for being omniscient, omnipotent, and as the “Vighneshvara,” or Remover of Obstacles. He is also considered the Lord of beginnings and a patron of arts and sciences. This Vandana, written and composed by the late Guru Pandita Dr. Rohini Bhate, describes Lord Ganesh being as beautiful as Lord Madana, the symbol of love and eternal beauty in Indian mythology. It showcases Lord Ganesh playing the veena, mridanga, and dancing gracefully. The Vandana combines the pure dance technique of Nritta with artistic expression in Nritya. This beautiful Vandana is composed in Taal Teentaal & Raag Mishra Shyam Kalyan.

There will be end course evaluation on the basis of assignments given throughout the course. Students will get Certificate after completing each level. Rujuta Soman is one of the leading Kathak dancers of India and also the founder of the Rujuta Soman Cultural Academy. Rujuta was honed and polished under the tutelage of late Guru Pandita Dr. Rohini Bhate for over 20 years. She has completed her Master’s Degree in Kathak from Pune University. Born with an artistic flair, Rujuta has also explored the nuances of Taal and Laya under the guidance of Taalyogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar. Recently she is learning intricacies of Jaipur Gharana of Kathak under the able guidance of Pt Rajendra Gangani.
